I Can Help You Help More People

It is easy to find people to tell you what to do.

Harder to find out how to do what is needed to implement.

Harder still to find someone to implement with you without a huge expense.

I have skills, experience, and tools to help you implement and market a Complete Membership Program, including some or all of the following:

  • Marketing Website with Blogging
  • Social Media Accounts and Campaigns
  • Sales Landing Pages
  • Email Marketing
  • Email Sequences for Members
  • Online Portals for Courses and Other Resources.
  • Copywriting
  • Help assembling, editing, and publishing content.
  • Marketing Strategies
  • Online payments of one-time purchases and monthly subscriptions.
  • Support for affiliate marketing.

Partner With Me

On a fee basis, the whole package is worth tens of thousands of dollars.

Assuming I love your offerings and we think there is a market, I can help build it out for a monthly retainer and a percentage of revenues.

Here is one possibility:

  • Small monthly retainer for building out the Complete Membership Program.
  • 20% of sales revenues to share in the success.
  • 20% of sales revenues available for affiliates.

As you prosper, I prosper.

You would earn 60% to 80% of the revenues, depending on how many sales are through affiliates.

Why Your Website is the Hub of Your Marketing Wheel

A website is your most important online asset.

The site does not need to be fancy, but your need at least a basic site.

Here is what a decent website does for a business:

  • Functions at least as an online brochure for your organization.
  • Describes you, your products, and services.
  • Provides ways for people to contact you.
  • Can sell your products and services online.
  • Allow you to capture contact information if they sign up for your newsletter or free product.
  • An easy website address can be communicated through email, in conversation, on business cards, on webinars, on social media, in television and radio ads, and other communication and advertising media.
  • Post and Announcements provide good enticements for people to visit your site.
  • Can host your landing pages.
  • Provide information that would be expensive to provide with people in person or on the phone.

How The Marketing Wheel Works

With the Marketing Wheel Model, all of the marketing efforts direct people to the website in general or to specific landing pages on the website.

Those landing pages then entice the visitor to some sort of action which could be:

  • Buy something
  • Join a mailing list
  • Call for more information
  • Get into a sales funnel
  • Recommend you to others

Why A Website Is The Best Hub

While it is possible to treat Facebook Pages and other platforms as a hub, here is why a website is better:

  • It is yours. You own the website and domain.
  • You have almost unlimited things you can do with the website.
  • Other platforms can disappear, change their terms of service, or lock you out.
  • You will have limited control over appearance, function, and traffic to your page.

Better to use the various other platforms to direct people to your website.

Case Study: Marie Forleo Marketing Example

This morning I received an email from Marie Forleo about her Marie TV interview with Seth Godin.

The whole from the email sequence through blog post through video through follow-up discussion is a masterclass in marketing practice and proof of the value of list building.

Email Invitation

I am not sure what first enticed me to join Marie Forleo’s list in the first place, though I was glad I did today.

Here is part of the email:

Email from Marie inviting me to watch a video on marketing.

Blog Post at MarieForleo.com

The animated gif in the email is linked to the blog post at https://www.marieforleo.com/2018/11/seth-godin-marketing/.

The Video at Marie Forleo TV

I have often used Marie Forleo TV as examples of how to do video right.

Marie is a fun and natural presence on video on her own and when interviewing someone.

The guests are usually amazing and cover a wide range of topics and interests. Seth Godin is a good example.

Example of a suggested tweet.

The videos have a good mix of onscreen quotes, tweetables, and ideas to remember.

There are now around 300 videos on Marie TV, starting with the first ones with Marie doing the video herself against a brick wall.  Today you can get started with your smartphone.

Invitation to Discuss Online

Each video invites the viewer to share their ideas.

Pitch Perfect Branding

Every video starts with “Welcome to Marie TV, the place to be to build

Every episode starts with,

“You are watching marieTV, the place to be to create a business and and life you love.”

Each episode ends with,

“Stay on your game and keep going for your dreams.
Because the world needs that special gift that only you have.”

I think Mario Forleo has helped improved the lives and businesses of hundreds of thousands of people around the world.

Calls to Action

The video, the blog post, the website have a number of gentle invitations:

Does It Work?

Well, yes it does!

“Whatever that girl’s sellin’, I’m buyin’!”

Here is my involvement with Marie Forleo since clicking on a link to join her list:

  • I often share here videos on social media.
  • I have used her videos as examples in presentations at Business Networking meetings and branding sessions.
  • I rerouted a return from the American Writers and Artists Inc (AWAI) FastTrack Copywriting Bootcamp in Delray Beach, Florida to New York to meet Marie at the Kris Carr book launch in 2015. I was perhaps one of four men among 400 or so young women at the event.
  • I signed up for B-School.  I have had people say it was the best thing that had ever done for their business and I think it is the best program for online entrepreneurs.
  • My partner Bonnie signed up for The Copy Cure.

Takeaways For You?

You can do it too. Here are some of the things that Marie Forleo does that you can start building into your marketing strategy.

Here are some of the steps you can emulate:

  1. Have a great website that acts as a hub.
  2. Create great content that you give away for free.
  3. Include easy ways for people to join your list.
  4. Encourage sharing, which leads to more people signing up for your list.
  5. Use many platforms for exposure. Marie uses email, facebook, YouTube, Podcasts, and other media outlet.
  6. Offer great programs.
  7. Over deliver value at every step.

I Can Help

I can help you plan and implement many of the marketing steps that Marie uses.

We don’t need to do at all at once. Marie took many years to build up her business to where it is today and made many mistakes along the way.
